Jagwire Bike Brake Cables & Housing Editorial Review
The Jagwire Complete Universal Sport Brake and Shifter Cable Kit has generated mixed reviews from customers. Some users found the kit to be comprehensive and sufficient for their needs, allowing for easy replacement of old cables which resulted in a noticeable improvement in performance. They were particularly pleased with the value for money offered by the kit, Considering it a cost-effective option compared to buying cables separately. However, there were complaints about the quantity of brake housing provided in the kit. Some users found that there wasn't enough cable housing to cover both brakes on their bikes, especially in cases where full-length housing was needed. This was particularly an issue with disc brakes, where users felt the kit fell short in providing adequate housing for installation. Additionally, some users noted that the kit lacked enough ferrules for shifter cables, requiring them to reuse components from their old cables. Overall, despite some limitations, the Jagwire Complete Universal Sport Brake and Shifter Cable Kit seems to be a good option for those looking to replace cables on their bikes, especially for rim brakes. The quality of the cables was generally praised, and the kit was Considered a convenient and budget-friendly solution. **
