Answer: NO HEATING NECESSARY, ITS READY TO GO.....AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH H2O THEY CAN BE BAKED AT HIGH TEMPS TO DRY THEM OUT TO BE USED AGAIN.
