Answer: There is no battery-not sure what you are referencing... this pedal must be run on a Healthy 500ma or more 9 volt Adapter but is even better if you run it at 18 volt 500 to 750 to a full 1 amp power supply make an appreciable difference--it will run at lower currents but this is a pedal that appreciates a good power supply. I have never heard of nor seen any reference to a little alkaline 1.5 v button-cell lr44 being used for any reason with a Belle Epoch. Plug it in to a decent power-supply and you will be fine. -
