Its unique construction provides a bacterial barrier for your wound that helps lower the risk of secondary infection. The Smith & Nephew dressing features a thick absorbent pad, which reduces your dressing change frequency. It has a low-adherent wound contact layer, reducing pain when you are changing dressings. With a unique molecular structure, this sterile rectangle pad limits the accumulation of moisture on your skin to avoid wound maceration and bacterial growth. Its clear film design enables you to monitor the levels of fluid and check for infection without removing your dressing. This adhesive dressing is extensible and does not restrict movements, making it comfortable even over awkward body contours. It measures 10 inches long by 4 inches wide for full coverage on most wounds.
