    Answer: The color shown here is about exactly correct. Not quite maroon not exactly red... overall I think they are perfect.
  • Question: is it a bright red or a dark red?

    Answer: more of a brick red, not too bright
  • Question: Can I put this in an oven with cold food on it at 450 bake or broil

    Answer: No oven no broiler for heating food, (s). I use in the microwave and cover with a vented plastic cover. So far no breakages.
  • Question: I would like to have side plates in the same color-are they available?

    Answer: I bought 2 different sizes of players in the same design.
  • Question: Can these plates be used with oil-based markers for kids to draw on then put in the oven to seal the marker?

    Answer: While I have no expertise on the subject, I would guess that this would not work. This China is designed to be largely impervious to stains or other issues so I doubt that the oil from the markers will stay put warm enough to fire.
  • Question: Does Corelle Bandhani contain lead?

    Answer: Corelle has been lead free since 2005. If you are using the older ones, please stop using them. I would go for the ones that are made from 2006 up to be safe. If you want to absolutely sure, buy a lead home test kit. Hope this helps anyone who has this question. As for Corelle plates, they are really great to use and lightweight. They do not break or chip easily. I highly recommend them to families who have children.🥰

    Answer: All 10" of the dinner plate is usable. A lot of food can be piled on plates this large.
