The Tiberham Lid Support Hinge is a heavy-duty gas spring lid stay hinge buffer damper that is designed to provide Tatami support gas strut hydraulic rod for kitchen cabinet doors, cupboards, toy boxes, and other furniture. The product is advertised to hold up to 100N/22lb of weight. However, most of the customers who have purchased this product seem to have a hard time installing it due to the lack of English instructions. The instructions are written in Chinese, which makes it very difficult for most Europeans to understand and install the product properly. Nevertheless, some customers have managed to install it with the help of the pictures and some logical thinking. The hinge does its job, but some customers have noted that it's not as strong as advertised. One customer mentioned that they used just one N100 for a 30"x16"x3/4" plywood lid and found it not too strong. Furthermore, there have been some complaints about the included screws being too short and the entire Construction being unstable as a result of using these screws. Some customers have also noted that the screws are easily rounded and therefore become unusable. Finally, some customers have reported that after a month of use, the hinge became unstable and did not hold well. One customer even reported that the product was delivered rusty, and they refused to use it. Overall, the Tiberham Lid Support Hinge does not seem to be a good value for money for most customers, given the difficulty in installation, the poor quality of screws and the hinge's lower strength than advertised.
