This battery base does not come with a power cord, but it does come with a two-pronged connector that connects the Echo Dot to the battery base. The blue lights on the battery base show that the unit is charging or fully charged, and four lights mean fully charged. The yellow light is on the Echo Dot itself, and customers will need to contact Amazon or search the internet to find out what that means. Unfortunately, this battery base does not have a power button, hence there is a continuous draining of power when not in use. Customer feedback includes some reviews stating that the battery dies quickly, some customers did not receive the wire to the battery, and others found it worthless because it did not work or they encountered issues with the plug charging the device. However, some customers love this battery base because they can take it outside with them, and it's rechargeable, so their Echo Dot never runs out of battery life.
