What should I do if my GX-IR05 Remote stops working?

If your GX-IR05 Remote stops responding, the first step is to check the batteries. Replace them if they are low. Next, ensure that there are no obstructions blocking the remote's infrared signal from the clock timer. If these steps do not resolve the issue, reset the remote following the troubleshooting steps in the manual. This can often restore functionality, allowing you to keep using your timer without hassle.

Can the GX-IR05 Remote control other appliances?

While the GX-IR05 Remote is primarily designed for clock timers, some users have reported that it can control other compatible devices that utilize similar IR protocols.
