Goldleaf Baking Mats 35.4Inch Mat-2pack (89.9 cm) Editorial Review
The 2MM Extra Thick Silicone Kitchen Counter Mat has generally garnered a positive reception among customers for its durability and usability in various kitchen tasks. Many users appreciate the mat's impressive thickness, which effectively provides a protective boundary for countertops, especially when working with heat-generating appliances. The mats are praised for their non-slip surface, ensuring that cooking units stay securely in place while using them. The fact that they are made from food-grade silicone is an additional advantage, allowing users to directly prepare food on the surface without worry. Customers also noted the generous size of the mats, which can accommodate wider surfaces and even be cut to fit specific dimensions. However, there have been criticisms regarding the mats arriving folded rather than rolled, causing creasing that may not easily flatten out. This issue seems to hinder the mat’s appeal, as the creases can affect both aesthetics and usability — leading to potential dust accumulation and making cleaning more challenging than anticipated. Some customers have also expressed uncertainty about the orientation of the mats due to the shiny versus matte surface difference, indicating a lack of clear instructions regarding the proper side to use. Despite these drawbacks, the overall sentiment points towards satisfaction with the product quality and functionality. **
