CFI-ZAC1J Editorial Review
The Genuine Access Controller CFIZAC J Accessibility Controller Kit for PS has garnered positive feedback from users, particularly those with disabilities. One user, who suffers from severe paralysis in his hands due to a spinal cord injury, expressed profound gratitude for being able to engage in gaming again. The controller, designed to accommodate various disabilities, allows for customization in button placement and has expanded compatibility with devices like footswitches. Its symmetrical shape and extensive functionality make it a viable option not just for Console gaming but also for PC use, as it connects seamlessly as a DirectInput gamepad. Users can map buttons according to their preferences, although initial default settings limit the number of buttons available until they are reconfigured using a PlayStation 5. Many find the ability to map inputs for other applications using software like JoyToKey particularly valuable, enhancing its versatility for tasks beyond gaming, such as illustration work. Despite the beneficial features, some users noted areas for improvement, especially around their initial setup and mapping processes. Although a manual for pairing with PC isn't provided, the controller's usability and ergonomic design seem to outweigh its drawbacks. The development team's commitment to designing a product usable by a broad audience is evident, making it a highly recommended choice for those with special accessibility needs. ###
